On Wednesday, May 20, families and community members will have the chance to tour the local campus, led by the school’s student leaders.
Visitors will hear first hand from the students about their experience at Benalla P-12 College, and the opportunities that have been made available to them throughout their schooling journeys.
Throughout the tour, attendees will hear about the benefit of the school’s Prep to Year 12 model, see the learning spaces on offer and discover the wide range of subjects available for students.
They will also learn about the VET automotive and the VET building and construction programs.
The VET automotive program gives students the opportunity to work within fully equipped workshop spaces, gaining hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance, mechanical skills and industry-standard equipment.
The program allows students to build practical knowledge while exploring pathways into apprenticeships, further training and careers within the automotive industry.
The VET building and construction program also offers students the chance to learn in modern trade training facilities, developing valuable skills in construction, carpentry, tools, safety and project work.
This equips students with real-world experience and confidence, and allows them to work on practical projects that prepare them for future employment opportunities and apprenticeships within the building industry.
Benalla P-12 College also offers a strong Careers and Pathways program, with many students currently involved in school-based traineeships throughout the local community.
This enables students to gain valuable workplace experience while continuing their studies, helping to prepare them for future careers and further education.
“The opportunities are endless at Benalla P-12 College, and we are proud to showcase the positive changes and exciting programs available at Faithfull Campus,” a college spokesperson said.
Tours will take place hourly between 9am and 3pm.
The college encourages all community members, families and future students to attend and see the campus in person.
