Interim chief executive Donovan Jacka said the annual appeal reflected the strong relationship between Benalla Health and the community it served.
“Benalla Health has always been shaped by the generosity of its community,” Mr Jacka said.
“Our annual appeal is a chance for people to support their local health service in a very practical way.
“Your generous donation will help us care for friends, family and neighbours close to home.”
Mr Jacka said community donations received through its 2025 appeal made a real and lasting difference, supporting the purchase of a K2 Monitoring System for its maternity services, which enhances patient monitoring and helps clinicians deliver safe, responsive care every day.
This year, the appeal will raise funds for essential equipment for Benalla Health’s Urgent Care Centre.
As one of the busiest areas of the health service, the urgent care centre relies on modern, reliable equipment to support timely assessment and treatment.
The urgent care centre is growing rapidly – this year it will treat more than 7300 patients.
Mr Jacka acknowledged that while not everyone was able to contribute every year, every donation was valued.
“We truly appreciate any support people are able to give,” he said.
“Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us strengthen the care we can provide and ensures Benalla Health continues to be there when our community needs us most.”
Donations can be made online via benallahealth.org.au/MakeaDonation-439 or by returning the appeal envelope. Donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible.
