The school’s Parents and Friends group is co-ordinating a paver drive, giving past and present families the opportunity to purchase personalised engraved pavers that will be installed at the entrance of the school.
P&F secretary Amy Kelly said the initiative would help support future opportunities for students while creating a meaningful connection to the school community.
“The project was created as a wonderful opportunity to refurbish the school’s front entrance while also giving past and present families the chance to cement their legacy as part of our school’s history,” she said.
CAGS principle Keith Willett encouraged all members of the school community to get involved.
“The front entrance is the first thing people see when they arrive at our school, so it’s exciting to transform it into something that celebrates our community,” he said.
“For many families, this will become a special keepsake — something their children can return to years down the track and proudly point out.”
The refurbished entrance will begin construction once the fundraiser is complete, with all pavers to be permanently installed at the front of the school.
