The school is set to embrace the occasion with a vibrant program that reflects creativity and academic excellence.
A key highlight of the week will be a special showcase of the school’s musical talents, where students will perform a variety of pieces demonstrating their skills and enthusiasm for the arts.
The performances are expected to bring the school community together in a celebration of student achievement and collaboration.
In addition to the musical showcase, the school will also highlight its strong academic results and diverse range of special programs.
Principal Karen Goodwin said these included initiatives designed to support literacy and numeracy development, as well as programs that catered to students’ wellbeing and individual learning needs.
“Staff at Mooroopna Primary School are proud of the inclusive environment they have built, where every student is welcome and encouraged to succeed,” she said.
“Education Week is an annual celebration of public education in Victoria, recognising the important role schools play in shaping future generations.
“It also provides an opportunity for schools to open their doors to families and the wider community, fostering a sense of pride and connection.”
As Mooroopna Primary School prepares to showcase its achievements, the week promises to be a meaningful celebration of learning, creativity and community spirit — demonstrating that every school has something special worth celebrating.
Families and friends are welcome to join the celebrations on Friday, May 22 at 2.30pm.
