“St Joseph’s is proud to offer a nurturing Catholic environment where every child is known, valued and supported to succeed,” acting principal Stephanie Arundel said.
The school will celebrate Education Week through classroom showcases on Wednesday, May 20 at its Open Day, allowing families to dive into the vibrant learning that St Joseph’s offers.
During Catholic Education Week, students welcomed families and visitors into their classrooms, led prayer and assemblies, and showcased their learning reinforcing the school’s rich culture.
“The focus was to celebrate how we ‘magnify’ learning, relationships and opportunities for every student,” Ms Arundel said.
With the highest performing academic results in the local area, the school continues to produce confident, capable and compassionate young people.
And with evidence-based teaching and targeted student growth at the core, St Joseph’s is proud to support every child’s learning journey.
“We are recognised for our strong academic focus while also prioritising wellbeing, faith and connection,” Ms Arundel said.
Guided by a Catholic identity and Mercy values, the school strives to ensure every member of the community feels welcomed, respected and connected.
“Community is at the heart of St Joseph’s and has been for 104 years,” Ms Arundel said.
Student development is further encouraged beyond the classroom within supportive environments, allowing students to discover newfound confidence and passions.
“Students are provided with a wide range of opportunities, from cross country and athletics to social justice initiatives and sacramental programs,” Ms Arundel said.
With opportunities for every child to grow and flourish, St Joseph’s is a place where students’ learning, faith and relationships thrive together.
