Murray league

With a split round, just three encounters took place in each grade last weekend.

In A-grade, Cobram had every reason to expect a third in a row victory over Nathalia, but the tables were turned decisively by the Purples, who scored all the way to take the match 52-24.

In B-grade, however, Cobram reigned supreme, taking out a decisive win over Nathalia, 49-22. In C-grade, a similar result with Cobram defeating Nathalia 48-19.

Picola league

In the north-west division in A-grade, Berrigan came away with a narrow victory over Strathmerton, 49-44, while Tocumwal triumphed over Deni Rovers, 55-48.

In B-grade, Tocumwal went down to Deni Rovers, 43-45. In C-grade, Picola thumped Yarroweyah, 49-26.

‚óŹ In the south-east division in A-grade, Katamatite showed its fine style with a clear win over Katandra, 46-38.

In B-grade, Katamatite beat Katandra 36-31 and in C-grade, Katamatite and Katandra played out a draw, 35-35.
