Levi was thrust into her competition debut for Gold Coast last Saturday, just weeks after helping Australia win the 7s World Championship in France.
She wasn't the only cross-code star to light up the opening round with nine of the 12 competition sides welcoming at least one player from another code onto their roster.
But the Paris Olympian admits she's faced challenges transitioning between the codes, and one has been adjusting to the semi-professional lifestyle.
Rugby sevens players are some of the most well-supported female athletes in Australia, with the program having been full-time since 2015.
With the NRL signing a $5.3 billion broadcast deal on Tuesday and demand for the NRLW rising, Levi hopes the women's league can also have fulltime professionals in future.
But in the meantime, the 22-year-old says the union converts can help boost the the semi-professional league.
"I think (this season, rugby sevens players will bring) professionalism. We're full-time athletes, and hopefully one day the NRLW will be," Levi told AAP ahead of the Titans' clash against Canterbury on Saturday.
"Being able to come out and bring that elite sportsmanship, our knowledge of footy ... that's going to be something that's going to make a difference.
"In meetings, we obviously chat to the girls about the difference between being a full-time and part-time athlete."
Levi noted another obvious challenge has been adjusting to the 13-a-side format, and Cronulla's Madison Ashby agrees.
But the Sharks sevens signing, who also made her debut last round, doesn't have to look too far for support.
"I'm not foreign to the game, but it feels a little bit foreign right now ... the space is a bit less, and it's a bit more structured," Ashby told AAP ahead of the Sharks clash against Brisbane on Thursday.
"There's also a lot of old seven players here like Cassie Staples, Emma Verran, Rhiannon Byers, Georgia Hannaway, Tiana Penitani Gray, Quincy Dodd. Those girls have been a big help with my transition over.
Ashby's partner is Canberra fullback Kaeo Weekes.
"He is also one of my biggest supporters. He tells me I'm in his game now, so there are plenty of interesting conversations that happen at home," she said.
In round two, North Queensland play the resurgent Wests Tigers on Saturday before the Sydney Roosters, and Newcastle face off to end the day.
Canberra will take on the Warriors on Sunday ahead of the battle between St George Illawarra and Parramatta's battle.
