Harrison became the third player in as many weeks to make his top-flight debut as a No.7 last round, following Manly's Joey Walsh and St George Illawarra's Kade Reed.
It came as the schoolboy prodigy was parachuted into the squad after coach Josh Hannay dumped Lachlan Ilias for the Titans' clash against the Sydney Roosters last Friday.
The 20-year-old, who joined Gold Coast's top-30 roster this season, laid the platform for his campaign, registering 22 tackles and putting up a series of dangerous bombs in his side's 28-12 defeat.
Regardless of his statistics, he was left "buzzing" after playing against his idols in James Tedesco, Daly Cherry-Evans, and Sam Walker.
"He (Hannay) timed it perfectly, to be honest," Harrison said of his debut. "He's backed me from the start, but obviously I needed to continue to learn my craft in the Queensland Cup.
"That's what I've been doing, so to finally get an opportunity, I'm really thankful to Josh for backing me.
"It was way faster compared to the Q Cup, but I had the confidence throughout the week that I was going to be up for it."
Despite having his first-grade debut under his belt, Harrison feels he hasn't nailed down his position despite Hannay flagging he would give the 20-year-old a spate of first-grade appearances, and that there was no pressure on him to perform.
He does have a right to remain guarded, though, as Gold Coast have a history of burning through their junior halves, with Ashley Taylor dumped in 2021, Toby Sexton released in 2023, and Warriors star Tanah Boyd leaving ahead of the 2025 season.
Jayden Campbell was their primary halfback last campaign, before Ilias replaced him for the opening rounds of this year.
But, Campbell took the No.7 jersey from round three until the Roosters clash, where he shifted into Ilias' five-eighth spot.
"There's always competition, so I've got to do everything I can to retain that jersey and keep my spot in the team," Harrison said.
"Josh didn't pump me up too much (after the game) because I don't want to get overconfident, but (he said) I played a good game and was really controlled."
The Titans will look to snap a three-game losing streak when they play Newcastle on Sunday in Magic Round.
