Strawberry Fields Festival has opened applications for its 2026 Community Grants Program, inviting local groups, clubs, schools and organisations across Berrigan Shire to apply for funding support, as the festival continues to reinvest in its regional NSW home.
Since 2015 the fully independent festival has been committed to supporting local community projects and is once again backing grassroots initiatives that strengthen local connection, wellbeing and community life with up to $40,000 in grant funding.
An independent economic impact report estimates that Strawberry Fields generates $3.7 million in economic output for Berrigan Shire and $7.9 million across the greater border region annually.
Strawberry Fields general manager Vicky Keeler said the grants program was a core part of the festival’s long-term commitment to the region.
“Strawberry Fields is proud to contribute not just culturally, but economically and socially to the Berrigan Shire,” she said.
With the 2026 festival taking place from November 20 to 22 and expected to be another sellout, Strawberry Fields is significantly expanding its investment in accessibility, with upgrades to infrastructure, facilities and services designed to make the festival more inclusive for people living with disability.
Applications are now open, and close on May 31. For more information and to apply, visit strawberry-fields.com.au/community-grants
