Guests will be treated to a two-course meal, featuring dinner and dessert, along with live music from Acoustic Box Duo, a silent auction and a photo booth.
Cobram Barooga Apex Club treasurer Damien Guthrie said the ball was a fundraiser to support young people pursuing tertiary education.
The club has partnered up with Young Australia League, a not-for-profit organisation that provides scholarships and financial support to young Australians.
“What we do with them is we offer an $8000 scholarship to somebody who’s finishing school or has finished school and is looking to do further study,” Mr Guthrie said.
“The scholarship is restricted to only students within Cobram and Barooga.”
Mr Guthrie said the night was not only about fundraising, but also about bringing the community together.
“It’s going to be a really good time,” he said.
The ball will be at the Cobram Civic Centre on Saturday, July 18 from 6pm.
Tickets are $110 per person, with tables of 10 available for $1100. Tickets are on sale now until Saturday, July 4.
