Throughout the month, Greater Shepparton hosted the AusCycling BMX State Series Round 4, the 30th annual Shepparton Arts Festival and the Basketball Victoria Junior Country Championships.
Greater Shepparton also played host to the Harley Owners Group Rally and the record-breaking Shepparton Rotary Club Motor Show.
Community members and visitors had plenty of opportunities to enjoy a taste of the region’s culture and food with Converge on the Goulburn, the Shepparton Italian Festa and the Shepparton Albanian Harvest Festival.
City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali said March highlighted Greater Shepparton’s growing reputation as a destination for major events.
“Events like these bring our community together and celebrate everything that makes Greater Shepparton special,” Cr Sali said.
“Our events calendar is jam-packed and the flow-on from this is felt right across our region with visitor attractions, accommodation, hospitality and retail providers all benefiting from the positive economic boost which these major events bring.”
As we progress through April, events have continued, with the Shepparton Rodeo, Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club’s Easter Tournament and the Australian Ultimate Championships Division II.
The 2026 GWM BMX Racing National Championships are also currently under way in Shepparton.
