Membership fee redirected to local projects

One of the Western Murray Land Improvement Group's projects has been to establish a small-bodied fish nursery at Barham Lake.

Murray River Council has withdrawn its membership of the One Basin Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) project, with the membership fee to be reinvested specifically in associated local agricultural and environmental projects.
