Police have confirmed that there is ammunition stored on the premises, so as a precaution people are asked to avoid the area until the fire is extinguished, and the area deemed safe.
Emergency services are on the scene of a fire in a Cobram Shop.
“While the fire is active, explosions are expected to be heard,” the spokesperson said.
There are 15 emergency service units currently on-site (7.20pm, July 9).
