Now in their third year in Australia, the awards celebrate growers at the forefront of responsible irrigation, innovative water management and environmental stewardship.
Excellence will be recognised across four categories: the Supreme Trailblazer Award, Sustainable Irrigation Management Award, Stewardship and Community Award, and a Future Trailblazer Award presented at the judges' discretion.
Awards co-ordinator Sarah Elliot said growers were finding innovative ways to improve water efficiency, strengthen productivity and take care of the environment.
"Importantly, the awards aren't just about recognising winners," she said.
"They're also a chance for farmers to reflect on their own operations, share knowledge with industry peers and inspire the next generation of irrigation leaders.
"We find that simply being nominated is incredibly meaningful for a lot of growers.“
Anyone can nominate a grower, with agronomists, irrigation dealers, rural service providers and industry organisations all encouraged to put forward names.
Farmers can also enter directly.
The nomination process requires only the grower's details and a brief reason for the nomination, with the awards team then contacting the grower and inviting them to enter.
An independent judging panel of irrigation and agricultural professionals will assess entrants, and all winners will receive prize vouchers towards an irrigation study tour.
Nominations close on August 14, with finalists to be announced later this year.
