Passed away peacefully at BUPA Glenvale.

Born in Christchurch, worked in the building industry in Wellington, New Zealand, became part of the Crow's Nest and Toowoomba community with his work at T.T. Hardware, mail run to Pittsworth and surrounding areas, involved in local Uniting and Baptist churches, volunteer at Life Line as a phone counsellor, Sunday morning host on 4DDB-FM, and J.P. at Wilsonton.

Husband of Jan (then divorced), loved father and father-in-law of Philip and Patricia Uren, Celia and Michael Southey, Wendy and Andrew Hoey. Poppa to Zachary, Gemma, Teagen, Mikaela, Shana and Jessica, and great grandfather of five little cuties.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend Bob’s funeral, to be held at the Toowoomba Community Baptist Church, 100 Glenvale Road, Toowoomba, at 11:00 am, Monday, 27th July 2026, service complete at the church, streamed online at Burstows.
