It is with profound sadness the family of Dr Ernest Michael Hoolihan OAM announces his peaceful passing on 25th August, 2026 at the age of 93. At the time of his passing in the Townsville University Hospital, he was surrounded by Family. Ernie was a beloved Spouse, Parent, Sibling, Grandparent, Great-Grandparent, Great Great-Grandparent, Friend and Advisor to many, a well known respected Elder, Leader and Social Justice Warrior within the Townsville Community.
All Family and Friends are warmly invited to attend a CELEBRATION of ERNIE'S LIFE which will commence at 11.00 a.m. FRIDAY MORNING 25th SEPTEMBER, 2026 at the Ryan Community Centre, Morindo Drive, Kirwan.
The cortege will proceed to the Belgian Gardens Cemetery.
