Suddenly and sadly at 8:30 pm on Sunday 26 July 2026 at the LGH NCCU aged 69 years
after a long and tough battle.
Adored loving husband of Karen (nee Hayward) and daddo to fur-baby Bessie.
Loved, loyal and treasured son and son-in-law of Julius and Annamarie Vadasz (both dec.),
and Arthur and Jean Hayward (both dec.).
Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Evelyne Vadasz, Karin and George (dec.). Eastoe,
Claudia and Robert Budgeon, and Kristina and Kevin Maloney.
Proud and respected uncle and friend of Stacey, Natasha, Mark, Samara and Troy. Great
uncle of Ollie, Sophie and Roman.

“When family chains are broken,
nothing is the same.
But as God takes us one by one
He links the chain again.”

Very special and close friend of Peter Dawson (Qld) and Neil Thompson (Hobart) for many
years.
Off Road legend, stalwart and great mate of his many friends especially his buggy racing
mates.

for 53 years, and married for 47 wonderful, unforgettable and adventurous years.

You shared my life and troubles,
