Died peacefully at Mary MacKillop Aged Care, Hawthorn East on 30th June 2026, in the 92nd year of her life and the 70th year of religious profession.

Beloved daughter of Edward and Mary Olsen; sister of Marie Thérèse (Johnson), Patricia (Collins), Gerard, Edward (Fr Norbert SJ), all deceased. Devoted aunt of her many nieces and nephews.

A dearly loved member of the Faithful Companions of Jesus, Margaret was a gifted teacher, principal and a pastoral worker with the marginalised of society. Margaret was a member of the FCJ mission in Sierra Leone, Africa.

We will miss her lively determination, her sense of humour, her single-minded dedication and courage.

We are grateful for the beautiful care Margaret received at Mary MacKillop and from the FCJ Healthcare staff.
