KNOX, Barbara Joan Lena
Late of Millaa Millaa and Etty Bay. Aged 89 years.
After a fall and a brief stay at Innisfail Hospital, Barb died at noon on the winter solstice, peacefully and with much love and laughter around her as we recounted wonderful memories. All together a life well lived having spent a long working life teaching grade one at Millaa Millaa State School.
Faithful wife of Don (dec).
Treasured sister of Aileen, Trish, Tim and John (all dec).
Beloved aunt to Pen, Gen, JD (dec), Matthew, Anne, Rachel, Trevor (dec) and Melissa. Beloved great and great great aunt. Remembered always by family, friends and acquaintances.
Barb’s request was for no funeral and private interment with her husband Don leaving quietly in the manner in
which she lived. Many thanks to Elias Schindelar, Dr Deac, Dr Coppin and staff of Innisfail Family Health and Innisfail Hospital. Our heartfelt thanks for the care and support provided in Barbara’s last months by OzCare Warrina staff.
