KEHOE, Sr. Marie RSM

A much-loved member of the Sisters of Mercy in her 76th year of Religious Profession, died peacefully on 20 July at Mercy Place Parkville.

We remember with gratitude Marie's long and distinguished contribution to Catholic Education, especially in the formation of generations of teachers. From 1972 – 1992, Marie was the Director/Principal of Mercy Teachers College in Ascot Vale, one of the tertiary colleges which would later become part of the Institute of Catholic Education and then ACU.

Her leadership and commitment form an enduring part of ACU's heritage. Her selfless devotion, compassion, and tireless work for those in need and for justice through her membership of many local and national boards and committees have left an indelible mark on our earthly community.

As we celebrate a remarkable life, Marie is now enjoying her eternal rest so well deserved.
