A-grade runner-up was Jack Tonta with 39 points, while in B-grade Oscar Marshall was the winner with 41 points from runner-up Jen Choice 39.
The C-grade scores were much lower, with Russell Begg the winner on 34 points from Prue Grant 33.
On Thursday the ladies stableford event winner was Fiona Milward with 37 points from runner-up Ruth Peacock 36.
Wednesday’s A-grade winner was Ken Wemyss with an impressive 42 points from runner-up Neil Boswell 38, and in B-grade Anthony Erickson had 40 to win by a shot to Robin Hood.
Coming up we have stableford events tomorrow, Tuesday (ladies nine holes) and Wednesday.
Next Thursday the ladies will play a four-person ambrose before enjoying their Christmas party.
Unfortunately the Reciprocal Teams Challenge, scheduled for this weekend, has been cancelled.
The club’s annual general meeting will be on Sunday, November 26 at 11am. Financial reports are expected to be available next week.
