The second half started similarly to the first, with another early goal to Ian Goodin to make it 3-0, his extended break overseas having no impact on his fitness and eye for goal on his return.

Roar went into the half-time break leading 2-0, with Kieran O’Donnell finding the back of the net twice. The scoreline could have been even more comfortable, with a number of chances going narrowly wide or getting saved, but thankfully those missed opportunities did not come back to hurt the home side.
