The Swans will continue to be led by Linc Sullivan in the senior football, who has the Swans fighting for consecutive finals appearances in his first season in charge at Princess Park.
Sullivan was named as senior coach after Jedd Wright departed the Swans stable last off-season and has taken the red and white to an eight-win season.
Keen to see the continual development of a youthful senior squad, Sullivan expressed his joy of being at the helm again in 2027.
“Happy with it for sure,” Sullivan said.
“It’s a good club with a lot of good people around it, we’re a developing group, so it’s great to have the opportunity to go a bit further and see what we can do next year and beyond.
“They’re quite a young group, I’d say the average age is around 22.
“I’m 47, so they keep me young, training is always chirpy and enthusiastic, it’s good energy to be around, just for life in general.”
Inheriting a list that played finals set Sullivan a high bar, made to be trickier with key players departing in the off-season.
But Sullivan has been more than impressed with a talented crop of young guns blossoming at senior level, with plenty of the Swans’ current stars coming from the thirds program that played a grand final in 2024.
“Obviously they built a 12-win season last year, but then we had a few departures,” he said of the senior group.
“This year is basically only locally-based players, but we’ve seen such strong development in the young guys.
“Those thirds players that played in that 2024 grand final will have about 30-odd games of senior experience next year, they’re learning on the job a bit, but they’re all learning together.”
Additionally, Sullivan noted the “state-of-the-art” facilities set to arrive at Princess Park will only strengthen the Swans’ chances of success in 2027.
“That brand new facility will be state-of-the-art, it’ll be A-grade,” he said.
While the football fold will stay under the same leadership, the Swans have opened up expressions of interest for a new coach to their A-grade netball side, as Jana Riordan is set to end her time in the role.
Meanwhile, Memorial Oval’s boundary line will see Brad Gleeson stand as coach on the bench for another year.
The Euroa stalwart has led the Magpies to a strong second half of the season, including a three-game win purple patch that has excited the black and white army of the future.
Additionally, Euroa A-grade netball coach Ellie Warnock has been backed by the Magpies board to continue the club’s reign of dominance.
After a premiership in 2024 and grand final appearance in 2025, Warnock’s women are primed for another flag tilt, sitting third with two losses to their name in 2026.
