First to enter the ring, 17-year-old Ayden Hicks came up against a 24-year-old opponent. Ayden had the better of his foe in the first round, was winning the second, until misfortune struck.
He tripped and the referee called it a knock down, resulting in a standing eight-count. Ayden came back strong. The third round was close, but although Ayden fought his heart out, he came up short with a loss via split decision.
Hammer hands: Blake ‘The Punisher’ Charlton won after his opponent was forced to throw in the towel.
Next in the ring was Blake ‘The Punisher’ Charlton. Blake came out strong, flooring his opponent with a ‘liver shot’ late in the first. His opponent got up and was saved by the bell.
In the second round Blake took it to the body, pinning his opponent in the corner with a flurry of left hooks and right crosses so strong that the opponent’s corner threw in the towel, giving Blake the win.
Last up was Tristian Maskell, fighting in just his second professional bout. It was a hard fight in which Tristian dominated with his left jab and right uppercuts. The contest went the whole four rounds, with Tristian getting the win by unanimous decision.
