The Tigers will once again be led by Jedd Wright and Tesslyn Saunders in the senior football and A-grade netball ranks respectively.
The Picola District League outfit made the announcements in recent weeks, as preparations for the next campaign ramp up.
Both mentors will return in a playing capacity for the 2022 season.
The Tigers’ seniors finished the cancelled season in fourth position, while the A-grade outfit occupied sixth spot.
Katamatite president Max Wright said the club was rapt to have its senior leaders locked in.
“It’s fantastic news for the club,” he said.
“We have also locked in all of our junior football coaches for next year as well which we are really pleased about. They are all quality people.
“All of our footy and netball coaches did a super job for us in what was a difficult season.”
The coaching announcements come as the Tigers begin re-signing their talented senior footballers for next year.
Wright revealed majority of last season’s playing roster would return to pull the boots on.
Reigning league best-and-fairest winner and skilled ruckman John Woodcock will return alongside gun midfield duo Sam Poole and Pat Horsburgh.
Wright revealed his son Sam, a 136-game star at North Melbourne, will again pull on the yellow and black jumper.
Sam’s former North Melbourne teammate and onballer Jamie MacMillan is tipped to return and add to his four games from this season.
But Wright said the Tigers will be without their third ex-AFL star, Joel Tippett, who is set to move back to the Gold Coast.
Meanwhile, the Tigers’ netball contingent will have brand-new courts come next year.
Katamatite received funding from Moira Shire Council to upgrade the existing bitumen playing surface to a synthetic court.
The project, which is tipped to cost over $200,000, is expected to be completed in June 2022.
“The surface of the courts will be completely re-done for next season which is exciting,” Wright said.
“I know the netballers have worked extremely hard and will be really looking forward to getting out there and using them.
“The club is really appreciative of the support from Moira Shire to make this happen.”
The Tigers are yet to host their end of season presentation night, but Wright expected the club to make an announcement soon.
“We are just waiting for COVID-19 restrictions to ease. We want to celebrate our season together,” he said.
