Junior basketball program returns for term three

Kyabram Youth Club’s junior basketball program is returning for primary-school aged children in term three on Monday, July 20.

The sessions will be held at the Youth Club Hall and are coached by Michael Maskell.

They are open to boys and girls of all abilities, from those trying the sport for the first time to existing players.

“The aim is to give young players the benefit of my knowledge and involvement in basketball, which has spanned over 50 years,” Maskell said.

Three sessions are being offered across separate age groups: Prep to Year 2, Year 3 to Year 4, and Year 5 to Year 7.

The Prep to Year 2 session runs from 4pm to 4.50pm, Year 3 to Year 4 from 5pm to 5.50pm and Year 5 to Year 7 from 6pm to 6.50pm.

A $95 fee is required to sign up for the eight-week program.
