The AO 1 Point Slam scheduled for Friday, September 4 at Echuca Tennis Club was postponed.
The club was set to host the one-point, knockout format, but has decided to reschedule until later next month to maximise the number of participants.
The event will have players of all levels, ages and abilities take part, aiming to come away victorious and book their place in the state championship equivalent.
Those who compete could also bring about numerous financial gains for the club.
By hosting the event, ETC is in with a chance of winning a $5000 tennis grant, should the winner go on to claim the state championship title.
In that instance, the club would also go into the draw to potentially be represented by a player in the national event, which takes place on Rod Laver Arena at the Australian Open in January 2027.
Should the eventual champion nationally hail from ETC, the club will win a $50,000 tennis grant.
