Deniliquin High School held its cross country on Wednesday afternoon just before 2pm, taking off at Memorial Park.

The students took the carefully marked course down past Willoughby’s Beach, doing a loop in the national park before returning to the starting point.
There were several students across the year groups taking part, running, jogging or walking the event, doing their best to stick to the route and earn house points.
Results and times are still being finalised, but there were several impressive efforts across the age groups.
