Since then, the association has seen more than 230 participants register.
CDJNA vice-president Tanya Saraikan said one of the key highlights of the relaunch had been the introduction of an under 9s competition.
“That has been hugely successful,” she said.
The association, which is affiliated with Netball Victoria, is now set to host its first tournament on Sunday, November 9 at Apex Reserve, Campbell Rd, Cobram.
“That is a one-day event, catering for under 11s and under 13s,” Saraikan said.
“As well as showcasing some wonderful talent, the day will be a celebration of all things netball, with food, drinks and activities available.
“We are expecting teams from a variety of clubs and associations across Victoria to participate.
“And we’re encouraging local clubs to register their teams ASAP so they do not miss out.”
A limited number of individual registrations will also be accepted. These players will form a CDJNA team.
