Leitchville-Gunbower has gone a fourth game without victory, taken down by a resurgent Elmore at the weekend.

The Bloods got on the board the previous week with a two-goal win and built on that result this time out against the Bombers, scoring a more comfortable victory, 58-31.

Elmore started the game strongly, jumping out to a 14-8 advantage by quarter-time.
Confidence was up and the defence proved particularly disruptive in the second, holding Leitchville-Gunbower to four goals.

It resulted in a 31-12 half-time lead and, although the Bombers were able to find more around the goal circle after the break, the deficit proved insurmountable.
Elmore went into the final term up by 20 and won the final 15 minutes 15-8 to storm to the 27-goal win.

The victory pushes Elmore above the Bombers on the league table, up to seventh and in a share of fifth on points.
Leitchville-Gunbower, at 1-1-3, has significant regrouping to do to arrest its slide, which includes three consecutive losses and a draw.
North Bendigo, a midtable side, is the next assignment for the Bombers, the two to clash at Gunbower Recreation Reserve this Saturday.
