Police put out a missing person alert on Sunday, March 1 for seven-month-old Navanah, who had last been seen at a Corio St address in Shepparton on February 18.
As a result of the alert, police had a confirmed sighting of the baby by a member of the public in Shepparton on Sunday; however, the child had not been located by 9.30am Monday.
Police believe the infant is with her parents, 33-year-old Sunny and 30-year-old Joel.
Navanah’s mother, Sunny, who police believe may be travelling with her daughter in the Shepparton area.
Sunny is described as Aboriginal, about 165cm tall, with a medium build, dark brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.
Joel, Navanah’s father, is believed to be with the seven-month-old in the broader Shepparton area.
Joel is described as Caucasian, about 183cm tall, with a thin build, blue eyes, short dark hair and facial hair.
Investigators believe Navanah and her parents may be in the broader Shepparton area.
