Two people face multiple charges over alleged drug trafficking after police searched a home in Strathmerton.

As part of operation Strike Force Bodallin, officers from the Cobram Criminal Investigations Unit and Viper Taskforce executed a search warrant at a property on Findlay St, Strathmerton, around 7.45am on Wednesday, April 30.
A 39-year-old female and 39-year-old male were arrested by police.
Two people were arrested at the Strathmerton property.
The man faces 13 charges, including a charge of trafficking methyl-amphetamine, one charge of possess methyl-amphetamine, one charge of possessing cannabis, four charges of possessing drug of dependence namely a prescription drug, two charge of dealing with property proceeds of suspected crime, one charge of possessing cartridge ammunition without licence, one charge of having failed to provide assistance as directed, one charge of handling stolen goods and one charge of theft.
The woman was charged with 10 offences, including one charge of trafficking methyl-amphetamine, one charge of possessing methyl-amphetamine, one charge of possessing cannabis, four charges of possessing a drug of dependence namely a prescription drug, two charges of dealing property proceeds of suspected crime and one charge of using methyl-amphetamine.
Both were bailed to appear at Cobram Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, October 28.
The arrests came in the same week detectives from Strike Force Bodallin executed four search warrants at properties in Finley, Tocumwal and Berrigan where two men and two women were arrested and charged with multiple offences related to alleged drug supply.
It was part of a larger cross-border action, Operation Blue Ember, between Victoria Police and NSW Police targeting organised crime groups and Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs.
