Tocumwal Girls Shed have been busily hand making a beautiful quilt to be raffled in support of Can Assist Tocumwal.
Tickets are available from Tocumwal Ice Creamery for $5 each, or from Tocumwal Foreshore Market on Saturday, January 28.
Hundreds of hours of work have gone into making this quilt with all funds donated to an incredibly worthy cause.
Tocumwal Can Assist provides support to locals undergoing cancer treatment.

Berrigan Shire Council has advised that they are working as quickly as possible to re-open Town Beach when it is safe to do so.
Council had commissioned arborists to assess the trees at Town Beach in Tocumwal.
The report was received, along with earlier assessments commissioned prior to the floods.
Works are now scheduled to complete the removal of significant hazards, meaning that Town Beach will not re-open for camping for the summer break.
They will continue to provide updates on when this area is set to reopen.

Tocumwal Little Explorers is holding its annual general meeting on Wednesday, February 8 at 7pm, at the Centre on Jerilderie St, Tocumwal.
All positions are vacant.
This is a great way to be involved in the community.

There are no longer membership fees payable by RSL Sub-branch members.
It has been replaced by a voluntary administration levy of $15, to assist with the running costs of the branch and continue the renovations necessary to keep the building running for future generations.
