Once again, the Lions Club of Seymour Goulburn has partnered with the Seymour and District Car Club to bring the annual show ’n’ shine to life.
Each year, the event transforms Kings Park into an automotive wonderland on Labour Day, which this year falls on Monday, March 9.
Beyond showcasing vehicles for the region's rev heads, this community event is a major fundraiser for the Lions club.
Based on previous years, about 400 vehicles will be on display at the 2026 show, with between 65 and 70 swap meet stalls and a market with an array of products to also fill Kings Park on the day.
“At the last one we had 400 cars on display, so hopefully there will be a similar number this year,” Seymour and District Car Club president John Phoenix said.
“There are no particular cars at the Seymour Show ’n’ Shine, it is all varieties.
“You are welcome to join, no matter the variety of car.”
An auction will also be held, offering bidders a range of items, all donated by local businesses.
Car lovers aside, the show also boasts kids’ rides and amusements, a food court, coffee vans, live music and a raffle with more than $3000 in prizes to be drawn on the day.
Local services are set to be present as well, with displays and demonstrations for attendees.
Gates open from 8am and entry is a gold coin donation for adults.
