Race five of the six race card, McVicar has put forward Boy From Tennessee and Gobbo’s Mate.
His are among 24 nominated for the $22,000 race, with acceptances and riders to be declared by Thursday.
McVicar has also nominated for three other races.
He has put forward Blessing Season for both race two and three, Winter Hail for race three and Four Esses for race six.
Another local trainer, Shilleagh MeyerVale, has nominated for race one with Retrofit.
The Jerilderie Gold Cup race day is set to deliver another big day of country racing, fashion and community spirit.
Alongside a full card of racing, the popular AGnVET Fashions on the Field competition will again highlight race-day style, with categories including Lady of the Day, Man of the Track, Local Lady of the Day, Race Stopping Millinery and Couple of the Day.
Families have not been forgotten, with Pether Ag sponsoring the Kids Entertainment Area. Skillzone will provide activities throughout the day, giving younger racegoers plenty to enjoy.
The festivities begin on Friday night with the Jerilderie Race Club's annual 100 Club Draw at the Jerilderie Sports Club from 7pm.
The club's major fundraiser features multiple prize draws, culminating in a $2000 jackpot for the holder of the final ticket drawn.
