Affectionately known as ‘Kouta’, the Carlton legend spent the afternoon at Monash Park working with junior footballers, sharing his skills through training drills and offering insights from his distinguished AFL career.
Young players relished the opportunity to learn from one of the game's greats and hear stories from his time at the elite level.
The evening concluded with a community dinner, talk and Q&A session at the clubrooms, where ‘Kouta’ entertained the crowd with stories from his football journey and answered a wide range of questions from attendees.
The event was enjoyed by footballers, club members and community members alike, with many taking the opportunity to meet ‘Kouta’ and hear firsthand about his experiences in the AFL.
The Jerilderie Football Netball Club extends its sincere thanks to Anthony for making the trip to Jerilderie and generously giving his time to support our players and community.

The Ian Sneddon MND Committee is gearing up for what promises to be another fantastic fundraiser supporting MND Victoria.
The annual Golf, Bowls and Big Freeze Day will be held on Sunday, June 28 and is expected to once again bring the community together for a great cause.
The event continues to honour the memory of our beloved Ian ‘Sneds’ Sneddon, whose courage, determination and positive spirit left a lasting impact on so many throughout our community.
Through this annual fundraiser, family, friends and supporters are helping ensure his legacy continues while raising vital funds to support those affected by Motor Neurone Disease and the search for a cure.
To register for the 18-hole Ambrose golf competition or the bowls' tournament, please contact the Jerilderie Sports Club.
The committee also has a range of merchandise available for purchase, including beanies, stubby holders and other items, with all profits going directly to MND Victoria.
The fundraising action will continue into the evening with the ever-popular Big Freeze, where four brave locals, Sam Sleigh, Daz Wright, Jeremy Bryce and Katrina Muto, have volunteered to be iced in support of the cause.
Spectators are encouraged to come along, cheer them on and help raise as much money as possible for MND Victoria.
