Bomb squad called to property in Katamatite

Detectives seized several items from the property.

The street was blocked by police cars for several hours, and drivers were forced to detour via Moore St as an exclusion zone was in place in the rear yard of the premises.

Nearby residents were not evacuated.

A 46-year-old man has been charged with firearms and weapons offences. He has been remanded to appear in court at a later date.
