A free drop-in session will be held at the G-MW Customer Service Centre, 41 High St, Rochester, on Wednesday, August 12, from 10am to noon — no appointment needed.
The latest version of WaterLINE has been available since November last year, with the previous system no longer supported by its provider.
The updated platform allows customers to place and manage water orders and check their Allocation Bank Account balance.
G-MW general manager water delivery services Warren Blyth said the system included a new map function, clearer displays for monitoring water flows and order status, and the ability to quickly repeat previous orders.
“We have made a range of additional improvements to this new version over the past several months based on customer feedback,” he said.
“This includes a clearer ‘review order’ process.”
Both the old and new versions ran side by side throughout the 2025-26 irrigation season, giving customers plenty of time to get comfortable with the updated system and share their thoughts.
Mr Blyth encouraged any customers who would like a helping hand to come along to one of the upcoming sessions and bring their own device.
“Many customers are already using the new version; however, we encourage customers to come along to any of the sessions, bring their own device, and our staff will help walk you through the new WaterLINE or answer any questions you might have,” he said.
Water orders through the new system open from August 10, with deliveries kicking off on August 15 to mark the start of the 2026-27 irrigation season.
For those who prefer to call, the existing phone ordering service remains available on 1300 469 469 — nothing changes there.
