Moira Shire Council administrator Susan Benedyka said the show was “extraordinary” and the performances “amazing”.
“I’m smiling so much my face is aching, I've got tears of joy running down my face, it's just so beautiful and very uplifting,” she said.
“The theme ‘shining brightly together’ is exactly what each one of the performers did, every one of them was shining.”
The show started with Cobram and District Specialist School’s signing choir performing You’ve got a friend, by Carole King.
This was followed by Clancy and Ned’s fun and very groovy dance to Wiggle up, giddy up, by the Wiggles.
Next was Michael singing enjoyable classic Go your own way, by Fleetwood Mac, and Hollee, also known as The Cool Band, singing Shallow by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
There were heartfelt songs too, with Jade dedicating Neil Young’s Heart of Gold to his mum.
Tamanvir performed an energetic dance routine to Heavy weight bhangra, by Ranjit Bawa, and Lynette sang Ed Sheeran’s Perfect beautifully.
‘Speedy B’, also known as Billy, sang the popular Alex Warren song Ordinary and Paul had the room rocking with a rendition of Queen’s We will rock you.
Matthew sang Can’t fight the moonlight, by LeAnn Rimes, and David danced along to Under the sea dressed as Henry the octopus from the Wiggles.
Georgie Tomlin also performed a heartfelt original song, My own superhero.
“I wrote this song to help me through a really tough time and I want people to know there's always someone who cares,” she said.
Lani Brookes and Galindo (Mary) sang an emotional duet of Wicked’s For good, that had the audience in tears.
“I had goose bumps from my toes to my head when the two girls were singing the duet,” Ms Benedyka said.
Mr Flynn (Greg) sang his heart out to Jim Nabors’ The impossible dream, and Nathan sang Drive, by Shannon Noll, with a big smile on his face.
Raymond’s performance of Greased Lightnin’ had everyone bobbing along, while the audience was mesmerised by John singing Any dream will do, by Jason Donovan.
Casey beautifully sang White Flag, by Dido, and the audience was rocking along again when Jess took to the stage shaking her hips to Roll it, roll it, by Gentry-Jones.
This was followed by Rory’s performance of Masquerade, from Phantom of the opera, during which he dragged emcee Christine Osbourne on to stage with him.
Keira finished the show with a dance routine to Welcome to my world, by Jim Reeves — a perfect way to spend her birthday.
After the handing out of awards, the performers all danced along to Shakira’s Try everything, with the audience clapping along.
Ms Benedyka congratulated everybody on all their hard work in putting this show together, both performers and organisers.
“It takes a lot of work to put this on ... it’s just really extraordinary,” she said.
