Wednesday was National Out of School Hours Educators Day, and the team at Intereach were not going to let it go by uncelebrated.

Held on the final Wednesday of each July, it is to recognise the important and special role educators play in the lives of children.
The Pastoral Times stopped into Intereach Family Centre to see how they were making the most of the day.
Students were treated to an outside afternoon tea on the grass with staff.
After morning tea, a few of the children presented the staff with some gifts before bringing out a cake made especially for them.
The beautifully decorated cake had an inspiring message which read “you make a difference every day”.
