A woman is fighting for life after she was struck by a car while pushing a pram in Melbourne's west.
Investigators believe the woman was crossing Ballarat Rd near Duke St at Braybrook with two children about 3.40pm on Thursday, when she was struck by a westbound car.
The woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the two children were taken to hospital with minor injuries, police said.
The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their inquiries.
Major collision investigation unit detectives are investigating the incident, with Ballarat Rd closed to traffic in both directions on Thursday evening.
