Analisa Josefa Corr, 54, and her husband James Alexander Corr, 46, were arrested after they caused disruption on a Jetstar flight from Hobart to Sydney on December 28.
Ms Corr claims to be the daughter of former Philippines president Ferdinand Marcos Sr and the half-sister of the current president.
She made headlines in her own right when she caused a mid-flight fracas after she and her husband drank alcohol they had smuggled onto the plane.
The 54-year-old took a painkiller containing codeine for her broken ribs and mixed it with a sip of contraband vodka, the court was told.
When a fellow passenger went to the bathroom, Ms Corr held her by both shoulders and made her feel uncomfortable before accusing Jetstar staff of doing drugs on the job.
"You guys are Jetstar staff, you can't be doing drugs on a flight," she said.
"It's a major safety risk. You're making me feel scared."
Her husband, who had been swigging from a 100ml bottle of bootleg scotch, repeated her claims the crew were doing drugs when he was asked to stop drinking the alcohol.
Ms Corr became agitated when they were asked to hand over the contraband alcohol bottles and called one of the crew a "f***ing b****".
On Monday, the loved-up couple laughed and held hands as they prepared to front Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court to be sentenced over the disturbance.
Ms Corr accepted she had exercised poor judgment on the flight and took full responsibility for her actions, according to her lawyer Jasmina Ceic.
She noted Ms Corr has led an "exemplary life" and suffered embarrassment as a result of the charges against her.
The court was told Mr Corr, a veteran who served two tours in Afghanistan, also found the legal proceedings extremely stressful.
He wrote a letter apologising for the "lapse in judgment" and noted being arrested on a plane had been "both shocking and deeply embarrassing".
Their lawyers pushed for the couple to avoid convictions that would be detrimental to their ability to travel internationally for work.
They are working on a venture that aims to help sailors and veterans living with post traumatic stress disorder, the court was told.
But Magistrate Rosheehan O'Meagher emphasised the prevalence of drunken behaviour on planes and stressed the need to ensure the safety of those onboard.
"People become intoxicated on planes, it causes problems, it causes havoc," she said.
"I have to send a message to the community that if they commit these offences, they are likely to be punished."
They were fined $400 each for drinking alcohol not provided by the flight crew and Ms Corr was fined another $400 for behaving in a disorderly manner that affected safety.
Outside court, Ms Ceic said the couple would appeal against their convictions.
They appeared undeterred by the court's findings and continued to smile as they strolled out of the court complex.
Ms Corr is the daughter of model Evelin Hegyesi, who allegedly had an affair with Mr Marcos Sr five decades ago.
Mr Marcos Sr was president of the Philippines from 1965 until 1986, when he was deposed following the historic pro-democracy "People Power Revolution". He died while in exile in Hawaii in 1989.
His son Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr was elected president in 2022 and has previously cast doubt over whether he and Ms Corr share the same father.
