Benalla Hockey Club presented its awards during a lunch this year, with both the junior and senior presentations held on Sunday, November 21 at Rupe Cheetham Hockey Field, Churchill Reserve. Rupe himself attended, ready to encourage all the new players.

After a fun parents versus kids hockey match, the Under 10 team and Stick 2 Hockey players were each presented with a medal, individual achievement certificates and a new hockey ball. The team thanked coaches Lee, Sally and Christie, and team manager Kelly.

The Under 12s also each received individual achievement certificates and a ball, thanking coaches Dave and John, and team manager and Term 3 coach Latham.
Sharing the spoils: The John Nicholls Memorial Family award was a tie between Lee Manning and Erin Jenkins, and Liam and Latham Carroll.
Overall Club awards included the John Nicholls Memorial Family Award which was a tie between the Manning and Carroll families. Both families worked tirelessly this year coaching and managing the junior players. The tie also reflected the extra duties as president for Lee Manning and vice-president for Latham Carroll, and the coaching and mentoring that junior players Erin and Liam did for the younger juniors.
Game on: The annual parents vs kids game had Jack Christie and Sally Moore against Steele Adams, Teddy Thannhauser and Hadassah Adams.
Lee Manning thanked all of the volunteers who helped to make Benalla Hockey Club so welcoming, and sponsors Ultimate Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Nutrien Ag Solutions Benalla, Bridgestone Benalla, Delatite Steel and Cellarbrations Benalla.
