Murray league

Barooga recorded a solid 50-28 win over Mulwala in Murray Netball League A-grade, while Cobram sparred with Congupna in a tightly fought contest that saw Cobram go down 40-44.

In B-grade, Cobram was able to turn the tables and defeat Congupna 38-30, while Barooga was overrun by Mulwala 25-41.

C-grade results followed a similar pattern, with Barooga being swamped by Mulwala 9-45 and Cobram conceding to Congupna 42-51.

Picola league

In the Picola north-west division, Tocumwal’s ladder-leading A-grade side trounced Jerilderie by a massive 28 goals to take out the match 62-34, but Strathmerton was not so fortunate, going down 46-66 against Blighty.

Yarroweyah failed to score at all against Mathoura, finishing 0-20.

In B-grade, Tocumwal recorded a handy win 47-38 win over Jerilderie, while Strathmerton levelled with Blighty 41-41.

Tocumwal tasted success again in C-grade, winning 43-41 over Jerilderie in a close match.

Yarroweyah proved too strong for Mathoura, with a handy 32-26 result on the scoreboard.

Neither side was able to get in front at the crucial time in the game between Strathmerton and Blighty which ended in a 34-34 draw.

●In the south-east division, Katamatite A-grade went down to Rennie, 52-49.

In the C-grade competition, the Tigers saw a similar result, losing 28-57 to Rennie.
