Only one water system had an improvement in water allocations in the latest determination by the northern Victoria Resource Manager.
The seasonal determination in the Bullarook system increased from 33 per cent of high-reliability water shares to 36 per cent.
The seasonal determinations in all other northern Victorian systems remain unchanged.
Seasonal determinations in the Goulburn and Loddon systems are 73 per cent.
The Broken seasonal determination is 47 per cent.
The Murray and Campaspe systems are 100 per cent.
Resource Manager Mark Bailey said there was very little resource improvement since the last assessment.
“Recent patchy rainfall fell directly over the Bullarook storages, adding enough resource for the small improvement,” Dr Bailey said.
“Elsewhere, evaporation and river operating volumes remain in line with our forecasts, limiting any gains in resource availability.
Similarly, the dry catchments are not producing much run-off when rain does fall.”
