The Goulburn system irrigation allocation has climbed to almost 100 per cent.
The Goulburn and Loddon systems both increased from 92 per cent to 97 per cent high-reliability water shares in the latest seasonal determination by the northern Victoria resource manager.
The Murray system has increased from 76 per cent to 79 per cent HRWS.
In the Campaspe system, the low-reliability water shares seasonal determination increased from 15 per cent to 22 per cent. Campaspe already has 100 per cent HRWS.
The Broken system increased from 20 per cent to 24 per cent HRWS, while the Bullarook system remains unchanged at zero per cent.
Resource manager Mark Bailey said recent rainfall provided modest increases to water availability across northern Victoria.
“Most storages received improved flows from the rain,” Dr Bailey said.
“The improvements supported the changes announced today [Monday, September 2].
“The Bullarook system requires more flow into its storages before a seasonal determination can be made. Customers with carryover allocation can access their water when needed.”
