With deep sorrow we announce that Barry died peacefully with his beloved Beth by his side after a courageous battle with a short illness.
Ophthalmologist, lover of thoroughbred horse racing,
keen bridge player, movie enthusiast and
a wonderful family man.
Dearly loved husband of Elizabeth (Beth)
for 47 years.
Beloved father and father-in-law of Paul and Leah and John (Jonny).
Adored brother of Anita and Diana.
Treasured stepfather of Kym and Glenn,
Andrew and Esther, Lyndal (dec), Adele and Scott
and David and Giacinta.
Cherished Poppy Baz/Grandpa of James, Lucy and William; India; Elani, Falcon, Leanda and Mabon.
With many thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Whittle Ward for their wonderful and compassionate care for Barry during the last week of his life.
A full life well lived.
Remembered always with love.
