Kicking off a massive day for the Tigers, the Cobram fourths, under co-coaches Danny Kelf and David Bate, will face down the Deniliquin Rams for a chance to make amends for last year’s grand final upset to Mulwala.
That morning will also see Cobram’s under-15s netballers, under coach Sandra Kennedy, hunt down a flag on the courts against Moama.
Later, John Brunskill’s boys in black and yellow will look to go back-to-back with a second consecutive flag in the thirds when they also face Moama.
And after defeating Mulwala in last weekend’s gripping preliminary final, the Cobram seniors, under coach Mark Meyland, will clash with an undefeated Congupna in the grand final at Moama on Saturday, September 20.
The Tigers will be seeking to go above and beyond the strong form they brought when they last faced Congupna, which saw them come within five points of defeating the reigning premiers.
