On Saturday, the Tigers’ junior football talents took to the field at Nathalia for finals action.

The under-17s continued their dominant and unblemished 2023 campaign with an emphatic 62-point triumph over Mulwala in the second semi-final.

Captain Koby Withers registered a best-afield performance with a starring six-goal outing as Cobram ran out 11.7 (73) to 1.5 (11) victors.

The Tigers are straight through to the grand final in a fortnight time at Moama Recreation Reserve.

Other standouts in the win were Hunter Hardwidge, Adam Champagne, Paulie Degei, Lucas Roberts and Jayden Woodhead.

Meanwhile, the under-14s struggled to replicate the same result as the thirds and suffered a narrow 14-point defeat to Moama.

The junior Tigers led by six points in a low-scoring affair, yet only managed two behinds after half time to Moama’s 3.4 in the 1.4 (10) to 3.6 (24) loss.

The under-14s now head to this Saturday’s preliminary final at Scott Oval where they face Deniliquin for a spot in the big dance.
