Winning the toss, the Saints elected to bat in a rain reduced match.
An explosive start from Matt Ross and Jeremy Packer saw the Saints flying at more than 10 runs an over.
Packer took on the Katty bowlers with a top score of 57 from 39 balls, including four sixes - three of them coming in succession.
Ross also made the most of the bowling, hitting 56 from 54 balls with support from Andrew Parr (17) as the Saints’ top order set up a commanding score.
Jordan Swann (30 not out) played a well controlled innings with Luke Melville (14) and Graeme Parr (three not out) to guide the Saints to 6/192 after their 36 overs.
In reply, it was Ross and Swann to take the new ball spell.
The Katty batters struggled against their relentless lines, reducing the Tigers to 6/41 and, with Swann finishing with 4/26 and Ross 2/13.
Lachie Packer (2/16), Josh Monteath (1/14), and Matt Whelan (1/4) continued the strong bowling from the Saints to finish Katamatite's innings, all out for 77 after 23 overs.
The Saints won by 115 runs.
This week, the Saints host Deniliquin in their final match prior to the break.
In the under-15s competition, day two resumed with the Berrigan/Finley team defending 170.
Five wickets from Jordan Swann set the team up for a big win, bowling Katamatite out for 90 in the 26th over.
He was well supported by Josh Monteath, Jack Phillips, Jason Hay and Rylan Gorman who all took one wicket each.
With overs remaining, the Berrigan/Finley side had another bat. They posted 3/71, with Swann top scoring with 24 retired.
The award winners were Josh Monteath (Shear Kaos $10), Jordan Swann (Phillips Family $10), and Jason Hay and Judd Clark both got a Federal Hotel Parmi Award.
